Easy 7-Day Return Policy
Urban Jaipur offers a simple 7-day return policy, allowing you to return your order within 7 days of delivery.
Before You Return
Before initiating a return, please consider the unique nature of our products. Most of our items are handcrafted by traditional artisans in rural India, primarily Rajasthan. This results in each product being unique, with slight variations in weave, print, or stitching, which should not be considered defects. All our products undergo several quality checks before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.
Note: Minor color variations (up to 10%) due to different monitors will not be treated as defects.
Non-Returnable Items
The following categories of products are non-returnable unless there is a defect or they differ from their description:
- Quilts and Bedcovers
- Items on sale (Discounted items under the SALE category)
- Customized Products (e.g., fitted bed sheets, mattress protectors)
Requesting a Return or Exchange

Reverse Pickup Policy
Urban Jaipur offers a hassle-free reverse pickup service for returns. Here’s how it works:
- Initiate the Request:
- To initiate a return, please email us at return@urbanjaipur.com within 7 days of receiving your parcel. In your email, include the following:
- Your order number in the subject line.
- Attach 3-4 clear pictures of the product, including photos taken at the time of delivery.
- State the reason for the return in the email body.
- Return requests placed after 7 days of receiving your order will not be eligible.
- To initiate a return, please email us at return@urbanjaipur.com within 7 days of receiving your parcel. In your email, include the following:
- Important: Once we receive your return request, our team will contact you within 24 hours to confirm the details. Please respond within 2 days to proceed with the return. If we don’t hear from you within this timeframe, the request will be automatically closed.
- Product Condition:
- Ensure the product(s) are unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in saleable condition.
- Pack the product(s) in the original Urban Jaipur package with all tags and accessories intact.
- Return Shipping:
- You can either ship the product back to us through any reputed courier company and share the tracking ID within 1-3 days after approval of return request by us.
- Alternatively, Urban Jaipur can arrange a reverse pickup. Please note that some PIN codes may be unserviceable for reverse pickup by our delivery partners. In such cases, you will need to send the product back to us.

Handling Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Products
If you receive a damaged product, an incorrect item, or if an item is missing from your order, follow these steps to ensure a prompt resolution:
Report the Issue Promptly
- Email us at return@urbanjaipur.com within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. To help us resolve the issue quickly, include:
- Clear photos of the parcel and packaging from all sides
- Photos of the damaged, incorrect, or missing items
- An unboxing video of the shipment
Note: If you suspect the package was tampered with during transit, please ensure the photos clearly show any signs of tampering.
Product Condition:
- Do not use or wash the damaged or incorrect product. It must remain in its original condition.
- Keep the original packaging, tags, and any accessories intact.
Resolution Process:
- Upon receiving your email and verifying the details, we will arrange for a reverse pickup of the damaged or incorrect product.
- Some PIN codes may be unserviceable for reverse pickup by our delivery partners.
- If reverse pickup isn’t available in your area, return the product via a reputed courier within 1-3 days of exchange/return approval and email us the tracking ID.
- If the product is not shipped back within the 1-3 day timeframe, the exchange/return request will be closed automatically.
- In the case of a damaged or incorrect product, after we receive and inspect the returned item, a replacement product will be sent, or a refund will be issued as per your preference
- Important: Claims made after 24 hours of receiving the parcel will not be eligible for returns or exchanges.
- Return and Exchange Conditions
- Eligibility: Products must be returned in their original, unused condition.
- Shipping Charges: Return shipping charges apply based on the product category.
- Frequent Returns: Returns from customers with more than 3 returns in a financial year may be rejected.
- Product Inspection: We thoroughly inspect all products before dispatch. Complaints of cuts, tears, or damages reported post-delivery will not be eligible for exchange, though an investigation may be conducted.
- Non-Refundable Charges: Shipping fees, express/priority shipping fees, customization charges, alteration charges, and gift packing charges are non-refundable.
- Prepaid Orders: Prepaid orders that are refused by the recipient are non-refundable.
Return Charges
Returns requested for reasons other than quality defects, such as personal preferences, will incur a return shipping charges as follows:
- Standard Items: Rs 165/- per product (up to 1 KG) for items like single bedsheets, single dohars, bathrobes, towel sets, curtains, kids’ dohars, handcrafted bags, and dress materials.
- Larger Items: Rs 265/- per product for double bedsheets, double dohars, diwan sets, bedding sets, and comforters.
- Non-Returnable: Quilts and bedcovers are not eligible for return under any conditions as they are thoroughly inspected before dispatch.
Refund Process
- Refund Timeline: Refunds will be initiated within 24-48 hours of receiving and verifying the product’s condition. It may take 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your bank account.
- Refund Method: For online payments, the refund will be credited to the original payment source. Cash refunds are not provided.
- Exchange Orders: New orders for exchanges will be dispatched within 1-2 business days after receiving the previous package.
